Not the best ever, but definately on the best 5 fight win streak ever. Then if he beats JDS and (probably) Carwin again, man, that would be the best run in HW history.

He has not had enough fights to be even be considered the greatest Hwt ever. But, it would be a great win and move him a step closer to that title.
Fedor's streak of 28 fights without a loss will be hard for anyone to beat let alone at heavyweight. Not that I think Brock has to win that many in a row, as he will fight a deeper roster of fighters. Time will tell.

Fedor was good back in the day, but I honestly couldn't see him getting 5 wins in a row in the UFC these days either. Not saying Brock is the greatest of all time though.
No. CC and Nog in their primes are much better than Mir or Randy. Also, Lesnar isn't going to beat Cain. So you can forget about JDS right now.

Fedor's "HW championship run" started when he beat Nog to become the universal #1 of the entire division and the most legitimate HW Champion in the sport (by every historically established standard of measure - whether by lineage, by beating the rightful #1, by having had the best wins to that point, being considered the absolute best at the time, etc.).
During Fedor's "HW championship run," he won 19 straight fights (including his fight to win the Championship over the undisputed #1, Nog) - where Fedor beat several top-10 and top-5 opponents at the time, over the next 7 years straight, while never losing or dropping off from his reign once, until the loss to Werdum.
Brock's UFC HW title run, if he beats Cain, will have then consisted of 4 wins (including his fight to win the title over Randy), where he beat 4 straight top-10 and top-5 opponents, which will then be the greatest 4-fight stretch ever in the division (and a better 4-fight stretch than most all-time greats have ever had) - but not even reasonably-arguably the greatest "HW championship run" ever.
Fedor will have still beaten more top opponents overall and for longer than Brock did, during his "HW championship run" - which would still be greater in total quality and quantity than Brock's.
