IFL Loses TV Deal - Uht Ohh...

Is this the end for IFL?.. No TV deal is not good..

http://www.mmascoops.com/news.php?page=/205054931

It was over for me about half way through their first broadcast... Remeber all that "Somebody is leaving in an ambulance" crap with the sirens blazing before every commercial? Good luck to their fighters and coaches.

It's def. an end to their future.

All IFL needs to do is go live with some great fights, I thought they were on the cusp of doing just that, what happened?

Everyone knew IFL wasnt going to make it.

I wasnt cheering for it to fail but never found it very exciting and hard to keep track of.

too bad

Someone's leaving on a stretcher, and it looks like it's the IFL.

This is a few days old actually. They are trying to spin it like the HD deal
is better than a national, free, over the air network deal. LMAO.

I was a big IFL supporter at first. I figured they would get their act
together. They only got worse and worse. Hopefully they fold and the
WEC takes their talent.

i honestly think if they had a cage they would have done much better. the red white and blue ropes just make it look generic as hell. americans associate mma/ufc/cage thats why the showtime events are much better than the ifl's

they need to start promoting like a regular mma org, but just keep track of where the winning fighters team is from. no one cares for the team format

The MyNetworkTV deal was bogus anyways, HDNet will start carrying the IFL, they'll be fine. We already knew that they were done with MyNetworkTV weeks ago, heck the IFL even announced it. OLD NEWS.

I tried to watch it, but just never found it exciting. There was never any real build up to fights, real exciting fighters, and I really hated one of the announce team (dont know the guys name).

Not at all excited that the IFL is pretty much done, but can't say I am at all surprised.

a shame i thought they had good fights...

the fights were fine...however production needs to change

HDnet has signed them on.

Will be much better for IFL in the future.

And damn man, they should change "HDnet" to "Fight Network" or "MMA Network" or something.....They be showing events EVERYDAY!!

Their biggest problem was that their shows weren't live. I already knew the results months in advance so there was no point in watching it really.

"I'm a hardcore mma fan, and I wouldn't watch it for free."

ditto

"I'm a hardcore mma fan, and I wouldn't watch it for free."

Why? The fights were great.

"I'm a hardcore mma fan, and I wouldn't watch it for free."

sorry but that is the most stupid shit I've heard in a while.

"I'm a hardcore mma fan, and I wouldn't watch it for free."

Same here. Nothing interesting about these fights.

None of the guys were fighting towards a specific goal. They just went out there to fight. I couldn't give a shit who the best team was. I want to know who the best fighter is.

They should've crowned champs and had all their fighters fighting it out for a title shot, not some fuckign team award.

I really liked the GP Finals that were shown on New Years Eve

Wagney Fabiano's a force & I want to see more of his fights

hopefully HDNET will keep it alive
