ok. It's started. Announcements now..Frreman and Shamrock intoductions,
Dennis is with the Dragons-he's their alternate. The Toronto Team is a satellite team-MMA isn't even legal in Ontario. Brent and I live in Quebec over the bridge from Ottawa-we just moved from Montreal to raise our kids here....Ivan is in Montreal, we've known him for many years. Joe is in Winnipeg and the rest are in Toronto.
I heard an interview Mike did over the net and he had nothing but decent things to say about my husband...I don't become a nasty banshee unless things get dirty...then watch out! ;)
IFL'ers have to ALL stick together to keep this thing working well for all our athletes....we need this for our family! We have a baby already and the quasi-security is nice.

Ivan Menjivar vs. Bart Palaszewski
R1 ? After an initial exchange, Palaszewki flurries Menjivar into the corner with punches and kicks. Menjivar circles out. Palaszweski jumps Menjivar with a one-two. Menjivar goes into survival mode, trying to grab a limb. Menjivar escapes to his feet. Menjivar lands overhand right hook, but is punished with knees every time he shoots and clinches with the stronger Palaszewski. Menjivar gets a takedown off Palaszewski?s flying knee attempt.
R2 ? Menjivar shoots. Palaszewski clinches and lands body knees and kicks. They exchange solid body kicks. Menjivar clinches and battles out the takedown. Landing sporadic punches into Palaszewski?s guard, Menjivar leans back for a kneebar to a heelhook attempt. Palaszewski twists out and shrugs Menjivar off him at the bell.
R3 ? Both exchange punches at full power, but neither lands the shot. Menjivar nails a takedown off a spinning backfist, then later gets another takedown to take the round.
Winner ? Bart Palaszewki - Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
