Details on the Renzo fight? The Renzo victory...
Carlos Newton vs. Renzo Gracie
R1- Renzo lands a left/right combo to start the fight. Newton takes Gracie to the ground. Newton gets side control, but not after Gracie tries a submission or two including an uma plata.
R2- Newton gets the take down and works out of the half guard, an arm bar attempt by Renzo, then they stand up. Some more great ground work by the fighters, and a great reversal to see Renzo get into Newton's guard. Round ends with both throwing some leather.
R3- Newton throws some big shoots to start the round. Newton connects with an uppercut. The fight stays standing and the round ends with Newton taking down Gracie with a foot sweep. The winner by split decision Renzo Gracie (29-28, 29-28, 28-29).
Split decision? Any controversy?
