The only people who will be charged are the ones defending themselves against said crimes.
SAFE-T act… like the Patriot act was about patriots.
I was going to say this
What’s an aggravated DUI, and how does it differ from a regular DUI
It’s when you were annoyed with something, and decided to get drunk and drive. As opposed to getting drunk happily.
I think its when you cause bodily injury or damage.
But reform advocates say keeping people locked up simply because they can’t afford bail is wrong.
“That’s just inequitable that some people get to be free because they have money and other people have to remain incarcerated, which has all kinds of terrible consequences for people’s ability to work, for their housing, their whole families suffer,” said Ben Ruddell, ACLU of Illinois.
They cite what happened to Sandra Bland, who hanged herself in a Texas jail while unable to post bail after a traffic stop, as an example of why bail reform is so important.
The new law still gives judges the discretion to keep suspects they deem dangerous locked up without bail. But many in law enforcement are concerned too many people who should be behind bars won’t be after January 1.
Leave it to the judges, not MAGAt cops hopped up on Newsmax and Fox News.
Criminal justice reform needs to happen and there will be bumps along the way. This law is 800 pages, I haven’t read it but I’d guess 95% of it is an improvement to the current system.
That doesnt change jack shit with all the Soros backed judges.
I can only guess you’ve lived a very sheltered life…
govern me harder daddy
fuckin faggot
I don’t think so, more likely he is a criminal pos who just wants to be able to commit crimes without any issues.
when i see “non-detainable offenses” i would think it means you cannot be detained for those offenses, but you can… i understand people not liking the new system, but its better to be honest about what it actually says.
the cash bail system is a racket in a lot of ways, hopefully this new plan doesnt go overboard trying to address it. the new timetables for how fast police/prosecutors are expected to address things seems like it could be unreasonably fast and lead to people being released that should not be. if that happens and someone gets hurt/killed the people promoting this system are going to get crucified…
says the absolute faggot who is begging the question
govt cuck faggot
Run-of-the-mill piece of shit seems apt as well…

says the absolute faggot who is begging the question
govt cuck faggot
What? This doesn’t even make sense.
I’m fascinated at the fixation by the left on how criminals are treated vs. the issue that criminal acts are being committed…interesting priorities…
