Gimme a break. He won that fight too. He was doubling and tripling up Leonard in the exchanges while much of the time he was grazing Max or coming up empty. That was one of the rare cases where the judges were the voices of reason.

Ran into Max at a casino when I was in Vegas for UFC 156. He seemed so genuinely excited that someone knew who he was he ended up hanging out with us for a little while haha. I was living in Hawaii right before he got picked up by the UFC and there was a ton of buzz on him on the island. Glad to see him living up to it for the most part. He has a long career ahead of him if he fights smart.
I'm a big fan of his too. Very dynamic striker. It's a shame he got robbed like he did tonight.

His takedown defense really surprised and impressed me. I picked Bermudez, thinking he would be able to outwrestle Max. It's a shame Holloway didn't get the decision, but I don't think it will be held against him. He's a real rising talent and fun as hell to watch.
