Keep getting worse?

There's good fights and shitty fights scattered all around these cards, whether its PPV, FX, FOX, or Fuel.

If the fights are intriguing to you, order them. If not, then don't. I've ordered plenty of PPV's only to feel let down after it's all said and done. There's no way to tell ahead of time.

Like last week was a free card with a record amount of finishes but fans complained about mismatches.

Now you get a card that has even fights but had decisions and wasnt a great event and they complain.

Dana is right on the money when he said in one of those scrums for this event that mma fans just have to bitch about something.

Some cards are great, some suck, some are free, some suck on paper but end up great, some are great on paper but blow when they happen.

its like any other sport. You dont want to buy cards dont, UFC gives up 2/3rds of their events for free so just watch them, or dont.

I just dont get fans crying about this after every single bad event.

Agree with this man Phone Post

Simple change of the pay structure would change things. I can't blame someone for not taking enough risks to finish their opponent when it could cost them their job. Just change the pay structure to put larger emphasis on a finish rather than just a win.

Some cards interest me and some don't. Personally this one didn't so I just didn't order it. No big deal and I am certainly not done with the UFC over it. Phone Post 3.0

Bullshit. Plenty of fighters have lost 3, 4 and even 5 fights in the UFC. Dan Hardy is an excellent example.

If you fight hard, you get more chances.

OnlyTheStrongSurvive -  This will easily be the worst card all year. There's some good ones coming up Phone Post

Probably.

But yeah 162 is good, 163 even with Pettis out is still good, Aug is fucking loaded with fights, got Cain/JDS, GSP, Jones/Gus, Ronda/Tate coming up in the fall.

I don't really get all the overreacting to tonight's card. You could look at this one on paper and tell it very likely wouldn't be worth the money. UFC had the 2 best fights on the card fall apart. I'm just kind of wondering what people were expecting. It's not like anyone was forced to buy tonight Phone Post

Yea but the card I dont buy is usually the card that is awesome.

You got lucky.

And tbh I dont think it was horrible. The stipe nelson fight was solid. Phone Post

Yeah the Stipe fight was the most interesting to me. I'm kind of guessing this card will be on replay on one of the fox sports channels soon so I'll watch it then Phone Post

Fair enough but certainly more emphasis on finish bonuses over win bonuses would help push other fighters to try and end the fight. Phone Post 3.0

I have watched every UFC since UFC 7 which for those of you who don't remember M Phone Post 3.0

Ah shit accidentally hit the post button! Forget all I wanted to say was this ufc was fine not good or bad. Plus I was there 2nd row and what an experience so for me it was GREAT! Phone Post 3.0

Lol at anyone paying 60 bucks to watch dudes punch and wrestle each other when the NHL finals are on for free Phone Post 3.0

Well, I am for one glad you are gone. If you think that the rest of the cards that have happened this year have sucked, then there's no hope for you.  There is always Bellator.  You know, with the terrible lop sided, uneven matchmaking that will one day most definitely get some one seriously injured or maybe even killed?  There is a reason most fights in Bellator end in "Spectacular Fashion", and it has nothing to do with any of Bellator's fighter being "Killers".  It's because Sam Caplan is a terrible human being and terrible at doing his job.  He pits one fighter who could be ready for the Pro's, against someone who has no business fighting anywhere near Pro fighters.

There is a reason why so many new fans love the shit out of Bellator. Yes they give new fans what they want, Knock outs, but at the expense of fighters health and safety. Plus, add in the fact that so far, NOT ONE SINGLE FIGHTER HAS BEEN POPPED FOR STEROIDS/ELEVATED TESTOSTERONE and you are left with every noob-fans wet dream.  It's Pro Wrestling, except without all the throws and slams and tight spandex. It's Pro Wrestling except for the fact real, actual punches and kicks and takedowns are being thrown.  Of course newer fans love Bellator. Of course they love Fake Joe Silva/ real Sam Caplan. And of course they love Djork. They put on dangerous fights.  Go watch that bullshit if these UFC events that have taken place up unti now aren't up to your standards. Go watch Djork's show if real, legitimate, top competition between the best fighters on the planet, except maybe one, aren't cutting it for you. I say good riddance. I'm sure Viacom will shell out some of that 6 billion in cash on someone to keep you entertained....
