If you are strictly looking for an investment, then I would buy gold and silver, etc..
When we were young, we didn't care about how much something was or was not worth. We just wanted to collect our favorite player or team.. Then all of a sudden people started making price guides and such and imo took a little something special from collecting.
If you are still wanting to collect mma memorabilia, collect what you like first and foremost, and buy it at a price you feel comfortable with.

I'm new to collecting myself, but have bought some rather great items at Mmacollector.com, fightermemoribilia.com, Koji on eBay. All depends on what you are looking for and who has it at the time you are trying to buy. You like UFC, Pride, WEC, Strikeforce, etc. then narrow it down to your favorite fighters, or what posters you seen you really liked. For one man to give you an opinion, it's just their opinion. My opinion is , War of the World poster, ufc1 poster, any hard to get Gp pride posters, etc. but like I said, that's just my opinion. Stick around and folks around here will look to sell or trade. Lots of good people here to help and share. But a pride 4 with a line crease, definetely not! Lol.
