Not to be condescending, but I figured Wandy could rape a busload of children, smash down that revolting 500 foot tall jesus statue in Rio, and shit all over the pope and 99.9% of Brazilians would STILL support him over Chael Sonnen.

I was wrong.

Throughout TUF-B3, Wandy gave the Brazilians at least a dozen reasons to dislike him, and when it came down to it, they put opposition to stupidity above blind jingoism and national pride. Good for them. It's surprising to me, but it gives me a newfound respect for Brazilians, who before this I thought would put nationalism above everything else, no matter how dumb or irrational.

Well done, Brazil. Respect.

I feel like the UFC started a smear campaign against Wanderlei with the ultimate fighter. It's obvious they wanted to make him look bad. They have kept this campaign going since. Seems a little fake to me. I was pulling for Sonnen but what is going on with Wanderlei is an embarrassment to the UFC. They really need to treat their fighters better. They treat them like toilet paper. They use em then discard them whenever they please. Getting tired of that shit. Then all the "sheep" I mean fans turn on fighters also because the UFC marketing machine tells them to. Phone Post 3.0
