if they were american, english, or russian, they wouldnt be still trying to mine the tragedy for a little bit more sympathy and would have moved on by now.
The Brits themselves wanted a ceremony or a moment of silence. Only the IOC said no.

Anyone thinking I'm trying to be political don't know Israelis. We're a very tight knit group. For me, an athlete murdered 40 years ago is like someone I personally knew. I've been at the site of their killings when I was in Munich (it's an apartment house now).
Also, if those atheltes were from ANY other country - US, Canada, Egypt, Jordan, doesn't matter one bit - I would have wanted a ceremony held at EVERY Olympics ever since. Athletes should not get murdered when they come to play their sports, and ignoring their deaths is a double crime. Anyone not realizing that, or somehow advocating their deaths, even by denying their right to be remembered, is deeply perverted imo.

Actually most Israelis aren't of Hebrew decent but are of eastern European or Russian decent hence why they look European. Actual descendants look more like Arabs; dark hair and eyes, olive skin color etc...
