I wanted to know what went into making my home mat. I am an old wrestler and used to needing a team of wrestlers to move mats. The Flexi-Roll mats are amazing and as an Engineer I wanted to know how they are made. Here is what they sent me enjoy.
This reminds me of one of the old "picture picture" segments on Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.
that video is pure win.

Dollamur is just what we use. They are not a sponsor of mine. Also Good4U is still a sponsor of mine however you wont se them on my fight shorts. Our deal was not structured on me fighting in/on the UFC. We are still Good2Go

What does the sponsors "Good4U" do for the fighters hat the others don't? You said they look out for the best interest for the fighters on you twitter....
This thread is about www.Dollamur.com, but since you asked. They provide fighters a monthly payment along with per-fight payments, they are willing to sponsor fighters on preliminary cards (meaning they are not just after the tv exposure), they market us fighters not just market on us and a few other reasons.
The fact is if you are a fan of MMA then you have to be a fan of the sponsors that allow us to do this. We have to train, pay trainers, training partners, gym dues and more just to prepare for a fight. Sometimes we have to pay even when we do not have a fight. We take a lot of time away from our families, friends and loved ones so we can be the best fighter we can be. We do so on our own time and our own dime. All in hopes to make it big. The fact is most don't make and even those that do the few years on top barely balance out the years spent chasing the dream. I lived on my gas and credit cards to eat and pay gym dues before getting a shot. Sponsors that are willing to help and support and offset your monthly expenses while you chase the dream are few and far between. Good4U is one of those rare companies.
I hope they continue to support fighters even if that means they can't be on the gear when fighters fight in the UFC. I hope for the guys working hard to get to the top are blessed enough to meet a sponsor like Good4U. Sure you can be a millionaire by fighting for the UFC, but you have to perform to make it to those opportunities. That performance requires training, sacrifice and support. I am thankful that I have had many companies step up and support me in and out of the Octagon. If it wasn't for my sponsors, coaches, manager and family I would not be where I am right now. I am proud to say Good4U is one of them.
Shane is probably one of those types who likes watching fishing on TV. I could never understand how those shows stayed on the air. :P
Can't wait to see you fight again.
Hey Shane...guys like you need to make a stand and go to Strikeforce. A monopoly is horrible for the sport, and clearly Zuffa couldn't care less for 90% of their employees. Here's hoping fighters get balls outside the ring and take a stand like Fedor and Hendo did.
ZugZug - Hendo asked for more money than the UFC thought he was worth and given his disgusting scumbag behaviour in the Bisping fight I'd say I agree with them.
Fedor didn't stand against anything, he sat back and let M-1 ruin his career.
Sure the UFC should pay guys like Shane more money but leaving wouldn't be a good move for Shane. Don't ask him to sacrifice his career for your ideals. If you don't like it start training, win fights, join SF and bad mouth the UFC all you want.
1. You clearly don't like Hendo.
2. Fedor himself said Zuffa contracts and restrictiveness were a joke. How many fighters are getting paid off those two video games?
3. If you call sacrificing your career making more money and being able to actually use your sponsors I agree.
Yes and you presented so many facts in that post how could I disagree?
