Proving Grounds Combat Club
of Vernon, British Columbia Canada is seeking a fulltime instructor/trainer to work in our MMA club. Due to passport issues World Champion Kick boxer Jeff "Big Diesel" Ford a Miletich Fighting Systems fighter and instructor in training will not be able to fill the position, we wish Jeff all the best in his endeavors. The ideal candidate should be able to instruct our local members in jiu-jitsu, kick-boxing and mixed martial arts. In addition this instructor will train our fight team. We have a dozen young eager fighters just waiting for a trainer, and we anticipate hosting legal and sanctioned MMA events every 8 weeks starting the end of August. Should we find an individual that would like to start the initial stages of receiving certification from Miletich Fighting Systems we would work with that person closely as we would like to become an affiliated Miletich school as soon as possible. We are a new MMA club in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia surrounded by lakes and mountains, with great all year weather and little snow. We are a 30 minute flight from Seattle Washington.
Our 4500 sq foot club has a spacious fenced matt area (70x24), large kick-box/boxing area (14 bags), cardio and free weight areas. We have a full-size kitchen, washer/dryer, sauna, hotub, showers, locker and lobby area as well. We have a massive stock of gear and training equipment. Our last UFC pay per view party we had 115 people watch and enjoy our huge 12 foot by 12 foot screen. This community loves MMA!!
We are offering VERY competitive contract/salary/housing for the right candidate and are willing to work in a % ownership should someone want to commit to long term and pursue Miletich certification. Should you feel that you are qualified and may be interested in a three month contract we would consider that for the right individual. This position is Mon thru Fri with every weekend off and we will pay for half airfare every 8 weeks for our trainer to fly to a Miletich school to acquire additional training. It is our intention to acquire Miletich affiliation and we will work with the right person to help them improve their training and instructional skills.
