It's amazing how many people are confused about what freedom of speech is. it just means the government can't outlaw your speech. It doesn't mean you get to do it on your company's time.
No one is going to arrest Romero for what he said. He voiced his opinion and had the freedom to do so.
But free speech does not mean free from judgement. If people don't like what he said they will react accordingly.

I understand private business can enforce rules against certain speech but I don't think that's right. It's just a work around to protecting free speech. Individuals can be singled out by their employer based on them spouting an unpopular opinion. I don't think that's right.
