Interesting Khabib fact.

Nurmagomedov is one of eight fighters in UFC history to earn eight consecutive octagon victories to start a career with the organisation. Via mmajunkie.

My question here is does anyone know who the others are? I can only think of Anderson Silva and Royce Gracie.

Rashad was probably one. Maybe Machida?

Evans drew with Tito but Machida is one thanks, that's three up to now.

Junior Dos Santos

Aldo went 7...thought he would be one, but nope-- unless you count WEC fights, then he went like 15

Tiny Rick - Junior Dos Santos
Dos Santos is another that's 4, i first thought of Aldo as well I'm taking only UFC.

Jon Fitch

Tiny Rick - Jon Fitch
And that's 5 i would have never if thought about Fitch tbh.

I mean 6 i haven't been counting Khabib.

Gray Maynard and Wide-man make 9. Not 8.

I assumed it was 8 or more so I'm counting Weidman same as Silva but Maynard had a NC to start his career.

I meant 9 men with 8 or more wins.

Fuck me, forgot about that double KO. Still a Maynard fan though.

I'm talking 8 uninterrupted wins got a little confused there.

So one more fighter to start off with 8 wins.

No, I got it. Just forgot about Gray's NC with Emmerson. So yeah, 8 men.

Yoel Romero is the last guy it's crazy he's on 8 fights already.

Another tid-bit-
They said on TV he hasn't lost a single round. Is that also true?

One of eight? So it's like a non-stat like the ones BJ's fans create out of thin air?

"He's one of only eight people to win an even number of bouts on an odd numbered day on an even numbered month on an odd numbered year!"

Let's not form a cult, umkay?

Romero has been in the UFC for just under 4 years. So not counting his year of not fighting cause of his suspension, he probably could stand to fight more. Wasn't he out for a while with after neck surgery, too?
