Diabeetus -I'd take the guy with the gun and the 50 eagles. Eagles can take out the rats....and I'm hoping the guy is pretty great with a gun so he can take out everything else.

He poses the most danger to you at range, and is the only thing on the board that will reliably kill or scare off all the others.
So then what you need is a defensive line so the shooter can kill.
Wolves, Lions, bears or Gorillas are the best options for that line IMO. I went with wolves because you get 15 of them.
This all greatly depends on the behavior of all these animals. Do they act like they normally would in the wild?
Or are they like terminators/zombies that feel no pain and only attack?

7 Wildebeest charging at once will steamroll anything else on that list and my buddy with the rifle can weaken enemy ranks before the hammer falls.
50 eagles and 10000 rats are hard to fight off, but also aren't worthy of being your two picks. It's a head scratcher

The guy with the gun is one of the options you can pick to either defend you, or come after you
dhughes -I think some people are forgetting that if you don’t pick the human with the gun, then he’s one of the things trying to kill you. Meaning you would be dead immediately.
