Stephen, while you have only been training MMA for two years, have you ever competed in a combat sport (Muay Thai, wrestling, boxing, BJJ, judo)? Good luck in your fight.

No I haven't. Ammy fights are hard to come by here. That was the plan initially but this opportunity came along so I thought "go big or go home". :)
I hope Langdown wins tomorrow, but it says a lot about oneFc that they promote him as a "top bantamweight prospect" when he has not had a single Muay Thai/boxing fight, or bjj, wrestling or judo match, in his life, much less even an amateur mma fight.
I think a lot of that is just to hype up the fight a bit more. They want to get people watching the youtube fights before paying for the ppv, so if people are intrigued by watching the 'top bantamweight prospect' then they might get more viewers.
Should hopefully be a win for him. He's a lot taller than Marcellinius

If you've seen how ONE FC does most of their marketing, they use a LOT of hyperboles: every card is the "most stacked card ever," every fight is the "toughest fight in a fighter's career," etc.
They put on a great show no doubt, and I understand they need to sell tickets, ppvs, and attract new customers and sponsors, but c'mon son...
They're still in their infancy and so are still trying to establish themselves and their fanbase. They've got huge ambitions, so I can understand why they are big on the marketing.
Most of their fights are bloody entertaining though, people should be watching One FC on that basis alone.
