Keith Peterson is going to the UFC. He’s going to be reffing UFC 101 in Philly, taking charge of some of the prelim fights. This is great news to me, because I was the ring announcer for Keith’s debut refereeing gig at the Asylum Fight League. Now he’s hitting the big time and it’s well deserved.
Congrats to Keith and good luck reffing! Here’s a pic of me introducing him to the crowd with the news at NY Fight Club 4 last week.

Reffing is the toughest, most thankless job there is. Keith does a great job with it. He's a fighter himself and knows how to balance saftey while giving the guys a chance to fight.
