inverted armbar question

(...from closed guard) I know that it can be done after the armbar from closed guard if the guy goes with his free arm behind my head for example.

But I'd like to know how to correctly set up inverted armbar from closed guard "directly"?

Thanks

when the head turns the body will follow

Is that the armbar that Roger caught Jacare with in the Mundials a few years ago?

Roger caught Jacare in the mundial 2004 with a classic armbar (juji gatame).(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUYwlxHjkMA 01:12 )

The inverted armbar I'm referring to is when you join your both hands together and make pressure with your forearm on the opp's elbow and stretch his arm.

I know it as a variation to the classic armbar, but wanted to know if it is possible to aplly it directly when the guy keeps a good base in my closed guard.

i thought it was the 1 you finish on your belly

vasquino, you can hit it by underhooking the arm and trapping their wrist against your neck.

Also, if you can hit it from a failed armdrag.

Vasquinho, Kyra Gracie puts on a clinic with the inverted/pressing/crushing armbar from the closed guard in the first match of this series: www.dailymotion.com/video/x24q66_adcc-2007-kyra

She finally finishes her opponent with the same "classic" version that Roger used against Jacare, but she simply followed her opponent's defense to her initial attacks.

thanks a lot guys! The two videos give a lot of details on the technique. Now I have to set to work!

Good stuff!

My former roomate Henry Akins hits that armbar on everyone its very painfull when applied correctly. Great move on the street.
