If you want some variety in your workout try doing inverted pull ups from dip or parallel bars.

However you may not have your feet on the floor, that's girl style. If you can't keep parallel then you can bring your knees to your chest.

Damn dude. Those look rough. I just did chest today. I’m gonna try them with back tomorrow. I’ve seen them before but I’m a typical karasu husky fat so not sure how it will go. Pull ups have always been a bitch for me

Pull your knees to your chest when starting and you'll knock them out with no problem.

Over the following weeks extend your legs a bit at a time.

At one time I could do the front lever pull up with one arm (only the right). But, we did a lot of specialized training back when.  Now I can't really even hold a lever anymore. Because I'm old. And weak. Kinda sad now too. And my pp hurts.
