UFC purchasing Invicta isn't a big enough announcement for them to do a press conference.
It's got to be Lesnar. It's the only announcement which I believe deserves an immediate press conference.

Tuffnuff does the same thing for Invicta when there are fighters who used to fight for them as amateurs. It's a good way to promote their organization.
