If you're openly hostile to another country, of course you want to take out their political targets.

Old but possible. Sounds like she's a possible target because of friendship with trump. After he had their shit stain guy wiped off the map, seems they want to hit him where it may hurt. I don't think he would really care much but interesting none the less
