Is Brock top 10 Now?

Welll......

yeah, it's a thin division.

Yep.

of course, Randy was around number 3, so that's where Brock is now.

I have him at number 5 with a big chance to climb if he can either beat mino or avenge his loss to Mir in his next fight.

 #5 IMO

TOP 5

Yep.

If guys like Dos Santos & Gonzaga can get ranked after one big win, there is no reason that Lesnar shouldn't be ranked after beating Couture. Hell, Gonzaga's big win was nearly 20 months ago and he is still ranked even though he has gone 2-2 since that win.

Obviously top 5, if you say otherwise you are a troll or a hater.

You can't have randy ahead of brock, you just cant.

LMAO at Randy ahead of Brock now. Also putting Mir ahead of Brock now is retroactive ranking which is retarded.

Fedor, Nog, Randy, Josh, AA, Mir, Brock.

Actually Brock is ahead of Randy, AA, and Mir. Technically he is ahead of Nog and Josh as well.

You motherfuckers have no concept of rankings, do you ? It's not Highlander where you steal a man's mojo or whatever to make you more powerful.

No, but if you beat a man convincingly, you are better than him, and should be ranked higher.

That's not "rankings", that's like a Marvel superhero pissing contest. Reasonable rankings in any fightsport are based on your cumulative results (within a reasonable time, say last 3 years) and the records of your opponents. When Aurelio beat Gomi who thought he became #1 ? Nobody. And there other good examples of this.

No, but it should have dropped Aurelio below Gomi.

If you fluke out a win over a guy, that's one thing, if you systematically whip his ass, it's another.

Brock systematically whipped Randy's ass. He's a better fighter, and should be ranked higher.

But Randy was inactive for over a year, you could even argue that he was unranked because of not stepping in the cage for so long.

Upon Randy's return to action he gets ranked top 10 because of his legendary career and his wins over Sylvia and Gonzaga who are both arguably top 10, but Lesnar goes in just ahead of him, imo, because he beat him.

 Hurrah for MMAth

I think the Serra situation is a bit different, GSP was the number 1 guy therefore the consensus champion. By beating him, Serra became the consensus champion and therefore number 1.

It's like everyone is fighting for an imaginary title (The No.1 Ranking), GSP had it, Serra took it.

Couture didn't have it (Fedor does) so Brock doesn't take it or immediately take his spot. But by beating someone recently ranked in the top 5, he makes a big jump up the rankings.
