Have a few days off in September and looking at places to visit for a few days. Charleston, Nashville, Memphis and DC are a few ideas I had. Charleston is leading candidate so far. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts on Charleston? Going with Gf we enjoy history, good food and some nightlife
DC is good in September.
Charleston is great for all of the things that you are looking for. But, it's still hot/humid as Hell. But if you add beach to your list, its tolerable.

Charleston is a really nice, charming old city. but it has become over crowded and is not really exciting. I like it well enough, but I'd never go back there if I didn't have a close friend who lived there.
I'd do an overnight to memphis just to visit graceland.
Nashville is probably my favorite of the places.

Im there quite often for work. Food capital of the south, sooo much epic food!!! IF you want beach, go to the islands around charelston. Nice place if you are into history and food.
Loaded with milfs, probably only behind San Diego, Austin, and Orlando in milf quality.

So I think I'm leaning towards Nashville now after doing a little research and watching some YouTube vids. Seems like a pretty fun scene along with good bbq, music and whiskey. Plus shouldn't be as hot and humid as Charleston.

I stayed in the John Rutledge Inn in Charleston. Also had brandy and appetizers every night in the ballroom. Amazing place.
Simplify this for you:
Charleston: incredible food and history
Nashville: amazing bar scene and music. If times well, you could catch an NFL game.
Savannah: amazing bar scene and very close to a good beach.
I wouldn't hesitate to go to any of the 3.

Completely disagree. New Orleans is fun. It's a trashy fun though. Nashville has a similar vibe but is much classier. Bachelorette party central too! Girls in tight pants and cowboy boots.
