I noticed Cruz was wearing a Monster energy drink logo on his shorts. Are there any other fighters that are allowed to wear a sponsor other then Reebok on their shorts?
A few have monster sponsorships as well
I'm pretty sure that monster and reebok have a deal together
Dougie used to have a Monster sponsorship, iirc.
I guess they aren't competitors so it makes sense. I've just never seen it, thanks!
I think Rory and Ronda are too . I know there's more.
Yes,
Ronda, Conor and I think a couple others too
Pettis was wearing it on his shorts also
I think all of the champs have Monster endorsements, plus a few others.
Ronda, Conor, Rory, Pettis, Cormier, Cain, Cowboy all have had the logo on their shorts of late.
God damn every god damn fight I see this same dumb ass question asked that was answered fucking years ago when the news section of this god damn forum posts the fucking stories

You're not alone. I never saw it either. Legitimate question in my opinion.
Monster did a deal with Zuffa and got a few athletes as part of the deal. When the Reebok deal was announced and they said other sponsors may be added this is what they meant. They have the right to sell the athletes during the events.
Similar deal is had by Ronda.
If you see a sponsor in the cage on PPV it is approved and a Zuffa partner. They may have formed a deal with the athlete but Zuffa first.
Typical Athlete wears Reebok in the cage and can go off camera and get into his Armani Sponsored suit.
Champs like Ronda have deals with Reebok that are independent. So when they are seen in public they need to wear Reebok.
Bud/Bud Light = Zuffa Sponsor that sponsored athletes through Zuffa guiding them
Xbox - Zuffa Sponsor that sponsored athletes through Zuffa guiding them
Schick - Zuffa Sponsor that sponsored athletes through Zuffa guiding them
Burger King - Zuffa Sponsor that sponsored athletes through Zuffa guiding them
Pepsi/Amp - WEC/Zuffa Sponsor that sponsored athletes through Zuffa guiding them
This thread comes up every single card..

Monster snuck its way in on the deal.
Not everyone has a Monster sponsorship, but if Zuffa puts it on the shorts, they have to wear it.
