A pretty good card?
I always enjoy Rousey fighting, always enjoy Cormier, we're going to see MacDonald vs Maia which is a great fight in my opinion, Mike Pyle vs Waldburger which is a nice fight and even get to see Steven Thompson.
Just sounds like an overall good card too me.

Prelims are actually pretty good, losing Rustam/RDA and Rashad on the main card hurt this card alot though.
But Koch, Sterling, Munhoz/Assuncao, Eye/Davis and Sampo/Fun Size are good prelims. Two top BW prospects, a Fly contender fight and a womens BW contender fight.
But you have a co main event that everyone feels is a mismatch, Cummings is a good prospect but on a weeks notice to fight DC in his UFC debut with only 4 fights it is a mismatch, plus you have two fights opening the main card that arent big fights and are more like prelim fights.
UFC should have put Sampo/Fun Size or Assuncao/Munhoz on the main card over TJ/Pyle.
I agree with you I'm excited with the card and the prelims are at least better than usual.

Since Cormier vs Evans was scrapped Macdonald vs Maia is the only fight I'm interested in.

Card was never good. When was the last time Evans or Cormier was in a good fight. Maia and Rory has snooze fest written all over it. Ronda will win by armbar again.

Whittaker vs Thompson is the only fight to get excited about.
Just because a fight isn't finished doesn't mean it wasn't good or entertaining.

I made this thread because I've seen nothing but people whining about recent cards, and so I thought I'd brighten up the place a little. The people complaining about the cards are the same people who tune in every event or still buy PPVs.
Quit bitching about the fights people, but instead about the Gilbert Melendez situation and dfw's attitude recently.
MMA fans in my experiences are truly the most beta pussies of any sport, besides maybe cricket.

Will watch all but I will pay special attention to Koch and Makovsky vs Sampo
I would pay attention to all of them since all them are important. Even Cedeno I believe is the CFA LW champ, then you have Koch, Fun Size/Sampo is a huge Flyweight fight, winner probably a fight away from a title shot. Sterling is the top rated BW prospect in mma, Gibson is also another top prospect. Assuncao is a top 10 BW fighting for a possible title shot. Munhoz is the RFA BW champ, is considered top 2 BW prospect. Then Davis/Eye both top 10 fighting for a possible title shot
