Hughes was in his prime for the last 2 GSP fights. Right before the 2nd GSP fight, Hughes had just TKOed BJ Penn at UFC 63 and destroyed Royce Gracie at UFC 60. After the 2nd GSP fight, Hughes dominated Lytle at UFC 68 for 3 rounds, and then had the TUF season to film. Right now, that's the top rivalry we've seen and 2 best WWs ever.
Silva-Henderson should be great, and right up there on that best ever list.
it's close to the top, styles make fights and I think Anderson's technicality in the striking department may give Dan problems, much like Misaki did in their pride matchup, but if Dan comes in shape and is aggressive with takedowns he may be able to grind out a decision.
This is a truly great fight because it really can end in so many different ways by either guy. Although Anderson is obviously the favorite, I don't think anyone who knows the sport could count Dan out. Actually I think he has a much better chance of taking it than many are giving him credit for.
That being said, I think Anderson will land some great strikes and win it by KO/TKO earky in the third round.
You'd also be hard pressed to compete with a number of the matchups Pride's lightweight tournament a few years back, Gomi vs. Kawajiri and a field that included Mach, Pulver, Yves Edwards and Joachim Hansen is hard to beat
