Is it?
No.
No

It would be a modern day miracle if he passed the post fight piss test.
Horse meat is the only other way
Not even god given genetics?
Hershel Walker does it on a bowl of soup a day and maybe a little bit of bread, so yes it is possible.
forumnewb - Not even god given genetics?
He needs good genetics to look like that WITH the sauce.
I doubt it. look at any oldtime athletes from the 50’s no one looked anywhere close to that.
Yes. Unless you’re some beta male with bad genetics and a cheeto addiction like all the cucks posting no in this thread.
It's possible to look like that and not test positive
lol
Lets say he weighted 200lbs fight time. He is 6ft1in and I'd say around 9% bodyfat (lighting makes it look less).
That leaves him at around 24.5 FFMI (fat free mass index).
That is considered to be the very upper limit of what is possible naturally, with god-tier genetics (1 in million) and years of bodybuilding muscle growth specific resistance training.
That being said, I highly doubt MMA fighters training involves that much muscle growth targeted resistance training. Actually I'd say it's probably around 80% cardio or at very best HIIT orientated.
EDIT: also keep in mind that many for fact "enhanched" physique bodybuildiers have lower FFMI.
Soooo, NO
Acai juice
Highley doubtful. You would need to make bodybuilding the full time job and ditch the rolling, boxing and cardio required for MMA. On Juice you can maintain that muscle while training for a fight. This guy must be masssive between fights. Novitski must be going out of him mind trying to get ahead of the quacks in Brazil.
Maybe for a 100% african, but not for Costa - his body was way too tight.
RockTheVote -flyboy91 -You sound knowledgeable. I'm going to quote these as facts.Lets say he weighted 200lbs fight time. He is 6ft1in and I'd say around 9% bodyfat (lighting makes it look less).

I should also add that FFMI scale isn't 100% scientifical argument. The upper threshold for "natty possible" was determined by observing and calculating the FFMI of top bodybuilders in the world before anabolic steroids became to exist/missused.
Sure, the training and nutrition science has since improved (although training not as much) but the genetic possibilities should remain quite the same, hence why I still think it's a helpful tool
Palmala Handerson -Being ripped is acheivable without juice, genetics plus diet plus hard training. Most people that claim juice are just jelly.
He’s a lot more than just ‘ripped’, he’s a fucking tank.

This seems like it wouldn’t capture a large enough population to account for freaks out there. How many people were bodybuilding in the 40s and 50s?
