Dude, that post inspired me. And my grocery had choice on sale for $7/lb. This was a $11 steak and turned out great. I smoked one on Monday. Had it for lunch and fed my kid and her friend afterschool for a snack.
Smoked it at 175° for 2.5 hrs then seared each side for about 30 seconds each. It was 132° when I pulled it. A little hot but not too bad.
