Is Saffron a Scam?

Kinda seems like it to me. It was used to add color to rice and other dishes back in the day. In current year is there any real reason to pay for this herb. Maybe I don’t have the most refined palate but I can’t notice any flavor it adds to anything.

Im just mad about saffron

Not a scam. But only refined palates can appreciate this fine spice. And it’s often adulterated with cheap stuff.
