First, I'm stoked for this fight. It will be everything I want it to be on the feet. If it hits the ground, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
I just kind of want to see the fight in a year or two.
Wonderboy didn't go on the undefeated streak I wanted, but I also dont want to see either prospect lose.

Nope. Thatch has to prove that he can stay healthy. I'd rather see the fight now than potentially never.
It's such an interesting fight that it's hard to be upset about the prospect vs prospect matchmaking, but I agree I wish this fight were taking place in a couple years. I see Thatch as about as blue-chip as prospects come, and I feel that with some development Wonderboy could be elite at some point as well. I wonder if the UFC feels he has already reached his ceiling though, based on his style and somewhat underwhelming (though dominant) performance against Cote.
I've got Thatch by tko, roughing Wonderboy up in the clinch and holding his own at a distance using his length. I hope whoever wins gets a top 15 match up.

I like the fight a lot. I think the world of Thatch, but because of his injuries fights like this could be do or die pretty soon.
