Was looking for a new game to get for XB1 and was wondering if the UFC game is good 
nope. i tried the beta an it wasn't very good to me
Didn't they do an update a little while ago? I heard it was better after the update.
Nope . Played it for A week . Supposedly it's better now . But I haven't gone back
Nope.. It's okay for a couple of fights then boring..
I play the game all the time and I enjoy it a lot. The patches that they've dropped have made great improvements to what it was at launch.

Game is almost a Completely different game than when it first came out due to updates. For instance you couldn't have follow up punches after a KO but now you can. The ref also breaks up the fight now. You can sprawl now. You can catch kicks now. They eliminate the WWE style TD from most fighters and added the traditional single leg. Also added 6 new fights; Dillashaw, mizugaki, woodley, Pyle, brown, and miocic.
I'm not bagging on it because I'm not in it....my brother played it a good bit. Says the look of the game with the details and graphics is amazing. However the gameplay is the worst one yet and that the first undisputed game is more realistic than this one. His vote is the 2011 undisputed (the one with pride mode) is the best.
In the new one every fighter can throw a spinning wheel kick but you need to play the game for more than an hour to learn to throw a jab low kick.
This surprised my bro since he is a big fan of the ea fight night series and thought if anything they would have conquered the striking portion.
It is there first time making a game with the UFC and I bet the next one will be better. That's the way these things go.

could it be better? yeah, career mode is lacking. but the fighting portion, the actual gameplay, is spot fucking on.
I also love how they're releasing free updates to the roster on the regular and adding new functions to gameplay as well (sprawl, touching gloves, catching kicks, etc)
I have to jump in with the "no" crowd.
The thing that annoys me most is lack of variety. As mentioned, every second guy can do some Cung Le crazy shit... If only for the fact that there's no other option.
Nobody plays like their real selves, because everyone has the same move set.
Stick to Undisputed if you have it, it hasn't aged that badly to the point it's unplayable, it's still the superior game IMO.
Career mode is really sad, too.

Only ppl I know who didn't like it were the ones getting pieced up online because they didn't have the patience to learn how to play. I was patient, I learned and I love that game its so much fun. Win or loose.

Were you not in the undisputed games? I don't know why they would take fighters out, you would think they would get the biggest roster they can.
Just picked it up at Costco for 19.97 seems worth the risk at that price.
