Is there a better WWII movie than 12 O’Clock High?

I’m watching it again right now. I don’t think there is a better one and I’ve seen them all. Such a classic. First saw it as part of management & leadership training when I worked for the state. Such an amazing movie. Wish they still made them this good.

Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS

It's called saving Private Ryan

A great movie. One of the all-timers. Still not as good as 12 O’Clock High though.

Never heard of it. What year?

Patton?

I always thought that "12 O'Clock High II: Mutant Nazi Re-Invasion!" never got the credit it deserves.

Das Boot.

SPR characters were too cliche. 12 o clock high is a great movie, made when they could actually take a look at the people doing the fighting.

Yeah because he fucking cheated dude. Nerd had brass knuckles.

^ yep, and it's a felony to possess brass knuckles

The way I have it figured, the so-called "hero" committed multiple felonies on his way to "win" that fight. Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Class Skipping. They need the sequel where he gets locked up for 8-10 years.

Plus he stole from that school store. Tack on more time.

IronHands - Das Boot.

I just fapped to Das Bootie. Grade-A flick.

Patton?

My second favorite. Maybe even 1A/ 1B for with the two movies. Patton was excellent.
