Chael has opened as a -450 favorite (in some places -500) Frobenius. So the people who know MMA, and don't blindly throw around praise just because you and said fighter are from the same country, actually think Chael only loses just a handful of times out of a 100.
You have no credibility on this forum. Mike is a good fighter. He'd give Rockhold one hell of a fight in Strikeforce for that belt. He is in the UFC what Dana and the powers that be know he is, a cash cow in the UK and a good-to-average gate keeper at MW.
You laugh to discredit everything you say when you call Chael a cheater. Did you see the Rivera fight?
I wouldn't be surprised if Chael out-boxes Bisping in the fight. Sonnen's boxing "career" is largely overlooked because his takedowns and/or wrestling is so dominant in MMA.
Saying all this, I hope they both lose but I will have 4 - 5u on Chael at -450

The books make tons and tons and tons of $$$ every year from betting lines. So you don't think Odessa and said line makers know the sport or don't like the $$$ they make? You don't think they open favorites as favorites for a reason? Theres a danger of opening huge favorites as huge favorites, so the guys who know the sport are not fearing Bisping stealing their precious juice they will make off Chael's line. So yes, the betting lines are usually a great way to see who is going to win, especially a -500 to +300 line like Bisping/Chael

Putting the banter aside for a minute, Chael is obviously a massive favorite in this fight and I expect him to get the UD win. Bisping is a live underdog though and a lot better than most forum members are willing to admit.
Steve, I couldn't agree more. Bisping is under-rated. I come to this forum to help with my betting on MMA, thats it. I've squeezed value out of Bisping's line his last 4 fights and had a massive bet on him versus Leben. And had a sizable bet against Mike vs Hendo. I'm not blindly betting because I hate Bisping, I probably hate Chael more. I had 2.5u on Bisping vs Maia ready to go. To be completely honest I'm line watching hoping the Brits bet Chael's line down alittle

bisping has very little chance to win.
1. he isn't going to sub sonnen like blackbelts have in silva, horn, maia. its a 3 round fight so he less likely to get tired than in the 5 rounder with silva.
2. his striking isnt powerful enough to ko him with a few well placed shots since stronger strikers like silva and stann couldn't ko him
3. he won't be able to rack up enough points and/or damage through strikes/combos/octagon control/etc because sonnen will run through him for the takedown. guys like silva, marquardt, and even okami coudn't stop sonnens takedown at all.
i don't know why ufc through their uk posterboy to a wolf like this. the only way to have this fight was to have a tuf and milk the trash talking for $

If he can prevent the TDs, or immediately get up from a TD without taking any damage, and pepper Sonnen with jabs whenever they're on their feet to negate the TD points, he could easily outpoint Sonnen in each round. He's definitely got the cardio to go 3 rounds, so no way Sonnen can tire him out easily.
Sonnen's chain wrestling and swift TDs are going to be a problem to avoid, but if Spitsping can stay out of his reach for the majority of each round and use strike-n-bike to the best of his ability, this will be a close fight.
