Ankle lock master?? I dont think so. That was a terrible leg lock, the other guy had no idea how to defend and made the guy look good. was it legas as far as ibjjf rules, yeah. should it work on anyone thats not a white belt, no.

I remember that one.. nasty stuff.. I dont think the two are compareable. My point about the first one is that lock was ok but the guy tapped early because he had no idea what to do. you called the kid a leg lock master, hey maybe he is I dont know him but that example of his foot game didnt show a master. He actually left himself open for the guy to come up and spin for a knee bar of his own... My .02

well maybe i am being generous to Dustin Akbari but he is a Black Belt in BJJ and has beat alot of top competition including Nate Diaz

You posted a good example, his foot lock attempt on Nate was much better, he squeezed his knees together unlike the first one. Nate kept his composure and escaped. Like I said no disprespect to the guy hes obviously a high level grappler. Ive been leg locked by some pretty high level guys myself. When Lister puts a foot lock on you its pretty much over, Id call him a master. Joel Tudor's foot game has gotten really good the last couple of years too, his toe holds are pretty nasty..
