man meets fate -
Matt never got any respect! He won some good fights and the moment he lost everyone was like "omg this man needs to retire."
If he wasn't deaf no one would be saying this kind of shit.
The man is deaf, not paralyzed
In all fairness, he fought Tito and Jardine after their primes. His best wins are against Munoz and Boetsch. After that, there's not much meat on the bone. He's lost to Rich Franklin, Jon Jones, Bisping, Rampage (?!), Thiago Silva, Gustafson...I'd feel bad saying, but it might be true that being deaf kept him relevant.
SHOGUN250 -
My god, this Mark Hamill
OP obviously meant Mark Harmon from NCIS, duh.
Seriously, though remember when Tito said deaf people have soft heads? That was crazy!

Tito became an expert on heads after he suffered his cracked skull.
Serious.
I'd cut him for not even having the respect to the fans and his employer to show up in shape to work once a year.

its a real pity alright, especially if he came out of retirement just for the many deaf fans who wrote to him (as jon anik said).
saying that, im sure its been hard to stay motivated and its hard not to respect him and what hes done
true, I was just frustrated.
Hamill did awesome that fight !! I was really impressed and it was a good fight. I honestly thought he could have won the decision. He got hurt once but really pulled through it well.
Nero, he could barely walk he was so grotesquely out of shape!
Even though Diego Silver was out of shape he still laid a beating on Mark Hamstel.
Matt looked out of shape,he may have been ill or something. His insistance on striking has always been one of his downfalls and it showed up the other night.
The Hammer is a world class wrestler he could have taken Thiago down and pounded him out or at least dominated but hes fixated on the knock out.
I worry for him, sure he can take a punch but he's like Rocky Balboa with his hands down and leading with his head its not healthy and its not smart.
If he continues fighting id like to see him go back to his roots.
and i believe he has been removed from the roster
