I think Zabit gets the better if Max in the first 2 rounds but Max, beaten abd bloody mounts a comeback in rd 3 and gets the decision..

Zabit loses rounds 3-5. Prolly gets tkod late in the fight.

That's two fights in a row now where he significantly slowed down after the 2nd round. Max won't slow down and he's more dangerous on the feet than anyone Zabit has fought.

Holloway has repeatedly shown his output and work rate actually increase as the fight progresses.
Zabit has repeatedly show the opposite.
It would be competitive for the first or even second round. But then Max would take over.

He's definitely ready for Max. I'm not saying he'll beat him, but he is incredibly gifted, has shown he has a chin, and he's beaten some to guys..........so absolutely, yes, he has earned a shot at max, and he stands a good chance at beating him, but I'll definitely be pulling for Max.
Zabit isn't ready for 5 rounds, and he certainly isn't ready for 5 rounds against somebody that uses their cardio as a weapon, like Max.

I think he's lost pretty much every 3rd round he's had in the ufc. Amanda Nunes used to have the exact same problem, until she really learned how to pace herself.
I think Zabit is a good fighter, definitely above average and will most likely hover around the top 10 but I am continually less impressed by him every time he fights. I feel like he is so overrated at this point. I just don't see it. I don't see any way he beats Max, seriously.
He doesn't have much power, has below average cardio (especially for someone in his weight class), feel like he leaves himself open to get hit too much and I've seen him unable to control grapplers that are not great.

I think you're pretty spot on. He's good, not great. His flashy moves make him awkward and tough to figure out, but they make him gas. He lost the 3rd round soundly today and would've absolutely lost a 5 round fight.
Max would put a pace on him and steamroll him. I’m not even sure Zabit would do that well in the first 2 rounds.

Lol...no one has shit for Max @ 145 except for maybe Zair. He could possible catch and swarm, but that's doubtful. Let Zabit fight Ortega and that will show us if hes ready to even challenge Max.
