Jamiee - Uh oh, this misconception that Fitch would beat anyone outside of GSP again...

Fitch could have easily lost against Mike Pierce in a 5-rounder
Doesnt facking matter, It was a 3 rounder and Fitch won
Fitch won a questionable split decision against Diego Sanchez.
So does that mean all close decisions ever were wrong? A close decision victory is still a victory. Stupid argument on your part.
Fitch was close to being submitted by Chris Wilson before the final bell
He was close but wasnt submitted and won. Mayhem was close to submitting Shields but didnt, and lost. Chael was close to beating Silva by a very wide margin but lost.
Fitch dropped the first round in most people's eyes against Paulo Thiago and then Paulo gassed like he did against Diego Sanchez.
So? Paulo gassed and lost. Fitch won. Good cardio is the best submission.
Fitch was outwrestled in the first two rounds against BJ Penn.
Yet they fought to a draw. BJ has better BJJ, better stand-up, and Fitch was supposed to have the better wrasslin, if BJ got the best of Fitch the first 2 rds then he should've won, but he didnt. They had a draw.
Fitch has yet to beat a high-ranked wrestler (like Koscheck, Shields, Rumble Johnson, Jake Ellenberger), who would exploit his mediocre TDD
Maybe his tdd looks mediocre to you but it has helped him become one of the most successful fighters in UFC history. LOL @ YOU calling Fitch's tdd mediocre.
Fitch got swept by Thiago Alves twice, effectively debunking this myth that his top control is indomitable. Too bad Alves was coming off of a serious injury with a tough weight cut
What you mean to say is too bad that Alves lost. Alves strength combined with his short, compact frame make him tough to grapple. Also, Alves was a purple belt at the time but they were wearing gi's. Alves trains with some of the best nogi grapplers in the world on one of the best MMA teams in the world with arguably some of the best training partners in the world. Alves nogi game is probably black belt level. Especially his grappling for mma. When you're able to throw punches while grappling, you open yourself up to sweeps. Fitch never stops working so I'm not surprised he was swept by a fighter that had recently fought for the WW championship of the UFC. Having the wrasslin credentials that Jon Fitch has means its harder to sweep them, doesnt make them a magical machine thats impervious to sweeps. BJ Penn has some of the best bjj for mma in the history of the sport, does that make him a failure for not submitting Nick Diaz when they hit the ground in their fight or does it speak for the grappling abilities of Nick Diaz? By your argument it means that BJ Penn sucks on the ground because he has a phenomenal resume in BJJ but couldnt submit lowly ol' Nick Diaz.

Also, every fighter is coming off of injuries. They're all plagued with them at that level. So saying somebody only lost cuz they were coming off of an injury is garbage.

On the last one I disagree, alves got exposed bad by story, and what made it worse is Rick then got wrestlefucked by the pros vs joes guy. Phone Post

Watching my lawn grow in the dead of winter is more exciting than a Jon Fitch fight.

Assuming he did go to his therapy appointment with Chael, I could not agree more

"hey everybody, watch me be funny by exaggerating!" Phone Post

The idea of Fitch going to "War" is about as likely as the monkeys jumping down from trees and digging an underground fortress of the mole kings to use as a weapon agaisnt mankind.

That being said, he is effective and will probably beat any other 170lbs bar GSP.
