Yeah.

Pretty much.

I just said it outloud in both English and French, and while I sort of abreviate the last sylable when trying to speak in a fake ass French accent, there is no t, or z in there that's for sure.

Maybe there is a Quebequos accent somewhere...like the Gaspe where they are 1/2 Acadian...where they talk like that but there is no way an Anglo would be expected to copy that accent.
