in 2012, Jacksons MMA (30%) and Tristar (35%) had the lowest finish rates of any major camp in the UFC.

The good news is that the UFC has a 52% finish rate... that's an outstanding product. 1 out of 2 fights are finished.
The bad news is that Greg Jackson and Tristar are bringing the average down. if every gym followed their methodology the UFC would have a 33% finish rate.... which means only 1 out of 3 fights being finished. That's a huge difference in product quality.

Yeah there win rate is probably pretty high. People really should stop bitching about Tristar and Jackson so much because the still train exciting fighters. Winning a fight on points can be even more entertaining the finishing a fight ( as JDS vs Cain proved).

But you have to consider that a major factor in tristars win rate is that Zuffa gives their guys beneficial matchups because the candian market is so important. The tristar win rate has more to do with supply and demand than successful training methodology.
YOu have a ton of american fighters... only a handfull of canadians by comparison so zuffa is pressured in general to give them advantageous match ups.

Black House is Soares' management group not a fight team. The fighters that he represents train in several different gyms. Aldo is with Nova Uniao. Several guys are with Team Nog. Machida does has his own gym in Belem. Etc.
