When the topic of Jake Paul fighting Floyd “Money” Mayweather was brought up, Jake was insistent that it would need to be a professional bout so Mayweather’s record is on the line. Jake added that he could make 175lbs while Floyd can make 165lbs, and that a commission would sanction a fight with that 10lb size difference. “Yeah, I just know I would win and I would love to take his 0, and it would be a massive fight as far as pay-per-views. So, I would love to do that for sure.”
How many breakdowns from the boxing community would occur if Jake slept boxing’s biggest name?
And I suspect some MMA fans would derive quite a bit of schadenfreude if Floyd actually lost. Kind of as revenge for the Conor match and that Jake took out Anderson so he’s now coming for boxing’s names.
If Paul could use his size advantage to win some 5-3 decision over Floyd Mayweather then that would be my funniest moment in the history of combat sports by far.
Total humiliation for the mystique of the 0.
There would be an element of poetic justice to it as Floyd’s modus operandi has been beating big names, basically none of whom are in their prime at the time of the fight. For him to get beat by a guy who does the same thing in a OTT manner would be ironic.
I think it would be too early for Jake at this point though down the line it’s possible considering Floyd looked a shell against Jake’s wrestler brother.
If it does happen Jake should come out to “another one bites the dust” as that’s the music Floyd used against post Gatti-Ward trilogy Arturo Gatti.
Maybe you should get some help from doctors who specialise in Conor McGregor addicted freaks who have delusions about people posting on alts on the internet
Is there any scenario where Paul would be awarded a decision? If Floyd where knocked down in each of the last 5 rounds, and was penalized twice, would you bet on the decision going for Paul?
I think we’re at a point where people like Floyd know they would not win against Paul, unless they determined there was an amount of rounds he wasn’t ready for. Paul is likely going to have to face guys his own size soon. I still say either Diaz brother would box his face off despite his size advantage.
