I couldn't believe Dos Santos weighed in a pound lighter than Cain... He looked huge!
JDS has a lot more lean muscle. Cain always looks soft, like 10-15 lbs of fat too soft. Always wondered about his strength training and diet...he could definitely do better. I'd argue Cain could fight at LHW if he cut the fat.
While it works for some, like big country, carrying around that extra fat isn't helping Cain.
Isn't JDS taller? Like 6'4 to Cain's 6'1 or 6'2?

Comparing their records it's kinda silly to say its working for Roy but not Cain
Cain could probably weigh like 225-230 if he wanted to. But it's not a big deal. Since his biggest asset is his pace/cardio he probably doesn't feel like a ton of big muscles would help him, maybe would even hurt him.
JDS actually weighed the exact same as he did last year for Cain, and Cain weighed in 9 pounds less than last year. Cain may have been a bit out of shape last time at 249.
Just seeing em next to each other I'd never guess the scales would say that... I'm not saying it means anything, I was just really surprised... I guess I always thought of JDS to be in the high 240's for some reason

True, but Cain only needs to lose a much smaller amount of fat than Roy. It just doesn't make sense to me for Cain to carry around that extra blubber. If he wants to be the best he should take his strength training and diet more seriously. Exchange 10 lbs of fat with muscle would only serve to help him.

Isn't Cain supposedly one of the heavyweights with the best cardio. That's all I ever hear them say. I agree he does come in "looking" soft, but there is NO way that man doesn't take his strength and conditioning seriously.
This isnt a bodybuilding contest. Musclemass requires oxygen, the more muscle you put on the more you will lose in conditioning. Ask Shane Carwin
The only reason to put on more muscle would be if he is regularly getting overpowered by other HWs. Looking at his fights with Lesnar and Rothwell im going to go ahead and say thats not a problem for Cain

Nothing funnier than watching a keyboard warrior speak like he has any clue as to what a fighter does for S&C and diet. Fucking nimrods proclaiming that someone like Cain doesn't take his training seriously because he has a muffin top.
You do realize some people just have that type of body that doesn't get lean/ripped (without steroids)???

No shit, but Cain isn't a lean 265 lbs like Carwin or Lesnar! Haha he's a SOFT 240. I'm not arguing that Cain doesn't work hard and does indeed have great cardio, but exchanging 10 lbs of fat for muscle isn't going to hurt him at all, in fact he will feel lighter and be stronger. Win win... /thread

Lol based on what? A single loss to JDS?

He also has a smaller frame than them you dummy. 240 pounds of muscle for a 6,0-5,11 Cain is the same as 265 pounds for Carwin. You havent provided a single frame of evidence as to why Cain NEEDS to add 10 pounds of muscle other than you not being sexually attracted to him otherwise

Probably for the best, you're embarrassing yourself.
Right Tony, you directly say that Cain should take his S&C and diet more seriously, then say you aren't saying that...but I don't get it.
