anyone know what the hell that's called?
at first I thought it was the Pace Choke but in this case the arm is trapped, Pace simply had the neck
i dont think pimenta knew what it was either..
wow.
Basically a triangle with his arm under for more choke effect. Some guys get triangles and then insert the fist into the gap there and then squeeze as well. Awesome slick set up though.
Looked like he was going for a gogoplata with his arm instead of foot and then locked the triangle on top of it. Impressive.
We call it a ganster choke. There's also a neck crank if you push your own knee.
Looks like an invisible collar choke, locking it up with a reverse triangle instead of the standard one.
To clarify, I mean usually you see it with the same leg as the arm that's in the opponent's neck locked on top of the other leg, but he's locking it up on the other side, with his left leg over right. That might make it a completely different techinique but I thought it looked similar.
Thanks for the insight, I like "gangster choke". Regardless of what it's called, nasty sub. There was also an omoplata submission earlier in the night on LFC. Not every day you get two cool subs like that on one event.
can someone find a technique video? i like shit like this
We need the Gracie boys to do a breakdown.
Eddie Bravo named it the Rexangle
