I just started listening to him. I knew he fought a lot but damn, the guy has fought everyone! He was surprisingly funny!
He went to ref a fight but ended up fighting because the guy bailed.
Fought heavy weights
Fought Anderson Silva
Fought all over the world
Journey Man , was a Killa
Beat Chuck
Pioneer
There is a special with Monte Cox & Tim Sylvia & some other Monte Cox guys on later tonight (Tuesday) on the Lytes Out Podcast.
I really wanted to see him face Tito back in the day. He was set to get a title shot with a win over Elvis but blew it.
Elvis sinosecs biggest career win. Armbar iirc
I really like Elvis he is a good guy but i think Horn went into that fight overlooking him and didn’t give him enough respect and paid the price.
Gumby. A Legend, pioneer and such a nice guy.
He was a Moderator also with Forrest Griffin.
I concur
Beat Chael 3x
I would say more than a journey man. He beat some great fighters
Anyone else remember him coming here the day before he fought Dan Severn asking for any advice we may have? He drew with him. One of my favorite posts of all time.
If that wasn’t here it was Mousels but I am pretty sure it was here
I never went to mousels but you had to pay like 5 bucks a month which was a lot of money for a mma board at the time.
That was in its dying days. That’s one of the things that drove me here full time. I never paid anything for that place.
I always enjoyed watching him. The man had no fast twitch muscle.
What was it like, how did it differ from subfighter ?
