At UFC Fight Night 67 Ryan Jimmo's fight was mostly uneventful, except for when he was kicked in the nuts so hard he had to puke in a bucket:

Anyone who's ever worn a cup and either boxed or kickboxed understands how a cup can actually make it worse. Having the cup slide up and capture one of your balls under the cup is possibly the most painful thing that's ever happened to me, and although I only box for fun and don't spar seriously, I can say it hurt even more than being dropped with a body punch or kicked / punched in the head.
I had to vomit too when it happened to me and had to lie down for like an hour straight cus I was too nauseous to drive home lol It usually does it's job, but if it gets knocked out of place, shit can really backfire. And I'd imagine all that wrestling and clinching makes the cup move around even more tbh
