krept - I am really surprised that someone has not done a film along the lines of Arte Suave that covers US (CA, NY, etc) and global BJJ. The first one sets the gold standard IMO.
It has been a few years since I watched it, but I seem to remember 'Mat Methods' was a little bit like that. Main part I can remember is Roy Harris training with Roy Dean (when Dean was still teaching in San Diego).
There was also a really good free documentary about BJJ in Virginia, which I'm sure has been linked on here many times before. Lots of regulars from NHBGear on it:

not really, its like Scotty said on another thread people will torrent the shit out of them. Hell take the new Birth of Vale tudo dvd, people should be BUYING it and instead within a week it the whole thing is posted for free at places online. If the investors are not going to get a return there is no reason for them to try to keep putting out material (unless they just upload it as a webseries for free like Ask a BJJ Blackbelt or BJJHacks for instance). If people start actually making a demand w their pockets we could prob get more, hell OTM had set the initial standard w classics like Dengue Fever and American Penetration as examples.
It drives me crazy that people complain about Jiu Jitsu athletes not making money but are quick to torrent and copy DVDs. Support and invest in these projects!
OTM just released something about a new glover DVD filmed when they did the surf/Jiu Jitsu camp. Looking forward to that.
