I didn't know at the time Dan, & when I found out I drove 5 hours to get him, but he wouldn't stay, I also didn't realize for a long time that he was drinking as much as he was. I guess I lost it for awhile after losing Oscar & did things out of habit, I failed to see the grief in other's because of my own. I'm ashamed of myself for that...........
momita, you're awesome and so are both of your sons. don't let any
keyboard warriors give you any grief. they have no idea what its like to
deal with real adversity. btw, i thought you'd be happy to know that
oscar's memory is alive and well down here (louisiana). he made quite an
impact in his life and rich makes a point to tell his story each and every
show.

rules are rules bharrist.... & accually accomplished something we had not been able to do, made him stop his drinking which was the root of his bad decisions. Theres a few things I didn't like about the way they edited, his crying during his early years up to being a teenager was because of the many surgeries he had to be able to hear. Being deaf in school made him a great target. That's life. But, drama is what the show was after & drama is what they got.
We gotta take the good with the bad in life.
