JJ has been confirmed to fight in the MARS February 4th show. His opponant has yet to be confirmed.
MARS is the feeder show for HEROS and some of the headline fights are Shoalin Ribero V Aji Mitsuoka and Rodrigo Gracie V (my brain just shorted out on me, have to get back to you on that one).
JJ has been training like a demon and with only top shelf talent, 6 days a week.
The promoter of the show rocked in to catch him in action at RJW gym sparring Caol Uno and was very impressed.
Should be a great opportunity for him to get some visibility here.
I am also trying hard to get other fighters some attention but as with everything in Japan, it takes time little grasshoppers.

p.s. This should be a good pre-Spartan fight for him as he knows he has his hands full with Adrian Pang.
I would imagine JJ is as happy as a pig in shit at the momment. I know he is a massive fan of the GCM events and would be honoured to debut on such a prestigous event.

MARS is apparently going to be a much bigger event than I expected, with talks of television coverage etc. Of course being opening match I doubt that will include me.
Adrian Pang was my motivation for coming here. I know how tough/ skilled he is and I also know that I needed this training to give him a competitive fight.

MARS is being held at the Ariake Colosseum which is one of the best sporting venues in Tokyo. Not the biggest but holds a healthy 10 000 in the stadium.
Should be a fun day.
