Joachim Hansen clarifies last week's statement
By ITG Staff
Solid and strong words replicate an equally strong reply, but when the message was poorly interpreted the man giving the speech needed to clear up any misunderstanding with his quotes and this is exactly was what Joachim Hansen did.
After a turbulent interview published on our website last week, the HellBoy contacted us and said what he really meant in the previous report:
"Many people in America were offended by my answers in the interview. (I heard) they felt some of my answers where racially negative, and I didn't mean that. If the loyal supporters are American/Brazilian/Japanese or what ever ethnic back ground, I don't care, as long as they love MMA and metal [laughs]. I have a lot of different MMA supporters from different races that I talk to. So, I hope this will clear that up! Thanks for all. I would rather have one real, doesn't matter the country or planet you come from (laughs), MMA supporter than 1.0000000000000000 + infinity fake ones."
Finishing this misunderstanding, we left a gap for more [if he wanted] but the position about UFC kept itself intact:
"I will never fight in the UFC. I would prefer have my testicles kicked in by a horse full of steroids."

ROFLMAO
Joachim defines a true warrior.
I don't know why he's burning bridges though. I would like to see him and some other dudes in Dream eventually in the UFC
I think they're doing just fine in DREAM.
Mad Xyientist - I think they're doing just fine in DREAM.
right, I'm not complaining. There's still some great matchups for the guys there; I as a fan would just like to see more unified talent eventually regardless of whatever legal or financial nonsense
hellboys awesome
what did he say previously
What were his racial comments?
Yeah,....What did he say?
the Racist UG turned it into a racial remark. even though we all knew what hellboy meant.
Joachim Hansen Hates Mainstream UFC...
Fletch F Fletch -Mad Xyientist - I think they're doing just fine in DREAM.
Aren't they having some severe ratings troubles? I thought I read that somewhere...
to appear in a good timeslot they have to pull in good numbers which is hard when all the good draws drop out (kid is out for the entire year now). No idea if they will actually fold though after the next event if they don't
fiercedragon -bonersaurus - "I will never fight in the UFC. I would prefer have my testicles kicked in by a horse full of steroids."
ROFLMAO
well antonio silva has nothing else to do for a year...
lol i laughed
Ok I read that article and cannot find anything remotely racist in it.

I meant from the booking/putting on great fights perspective. They're are tons of great potential fights and the format is exciting. Why wish him out of DREAM, he has already given us what is probably the Fight of the Year there.
he said he'd rather have on true japanese supporter than any other fake supporter... not really racist

here's an example of how the racist UG works...but i do agree with baroquen record on this.

I never thought anything racial about his remarks
Seamus619 - What were his racial comments?
He said Japanese fans were better than fans elsewhere.
Some people somehow managed to interpret that to mean the Japanese are genetically predisposed to be superior mma fans or something. That it was about race instead of culture.
a) Respect to him for taking a strong stand against what he feels are unfair contractual practices employed by the UFC.
b) I just read the original comments and anyone who took offense at that statement is a little silly. Even if you take it at it's worst, he's just saying he thinks the fans in Japan are truer than the fans elsewhere (pretty much vs. the US, really). What's offensive about that?
"Why wish him out of DREAM"
Because we've already seen him fight everyone there except Kawajiri.
