I wanted to thank Joe for his hard work and tell him I am sorry that fight with Manny didn't go his way. Manny and Joe are my 2 favorites on the show.
I know I can count on either of them for an exciting fight anytime they are in the cage.
JLau....process the data and come back stronger bro!
And I gots love for Manny on the whole Gokor Hayastan vibe
I wanted Joe to take that fight!
It sounded like he was banking too much on being stronger than anyone he faced. He assumed that no matter what he was going to be on top dropping bombs. Manny put him on bottom and it was hard for him to escape.
Andy Wang doesn't take direction well. Just let him be.
Now back to the regularly scheduled love for JL
Joe Lauzon could have done better, no doubt. Manny was just laying on him so much. I feel like they should have been stood up more than a few times and were not. Laying there like a blanket on someone is not good fighting, IMO.
Joe is a professional and behaves like one. He is young and it's refreshing to see someone be so cool and professional despite being young.
I agree. J-Lau ran into a bad matchup. Manny is such a boring fighter to watch. He just clings to you like a bad smell. I give him credit for his takedowns and his ability to stay on top and keep the pressure on, he really is exceptional, but it sure isn't fun to watch. I was really rooting for Joe. Sucks. But he took it like a man and I expect to see a lot more out of him. Manny too unfortunately, he's just a nightmare for 155'ers and a nightmare for spectators. What a great division.
Good work Joe! Don't let it get you down. You'll get there.
Great Job Joe, looking forward to your fights in the future.
LOL @ "just a nightmare for 155'ers and a nightmare for spectators"
Great season Joe! I was a fan of yours before the season and I'm and even bigger one now. Good luck in the future, I wish you the best!
Cheers,
Smiff
J-Lau being on MMA.TV certainly made this season better for me.
Thanx Joe.
Let me tell you something about Joe! This guy has more class, maturity and skill than most of the people I've met in MMA in the East. He's totally about promoting the sport (massmma.com), supporting those who have the drive, and has done his part and more for MMA in New England.
In my opinion, Joe Lauzon is just getting his feet wet. You'll see a lot from this kid in the future. Joe, you're the type of fighter/personality this sport badly needs. Keepin' it real!
I'm a huge fan!

I loved his brain buster on Cole Miller:
Brain Buster!
