I was just listening to this podcast and thinking what the world would be like if there were more people like you in it. Everyone knows basically what needs to be done just like in theory they "know" how to act, but when it comes to practice and taking action, I, like a majority of people, fall tremendously short. It is refreshing to see an articulate and intelligent person that doesn't.

I do have a question though about going back to fighting partly to bring attention to this cause. Whatever level of fighter you manage to be able to evolve too, I really think it will pale to compare to the type of person you are and the caring, spiritual vibe you give off. Look at how much attention you have been able to generate so far. Once again you live this experience I am just commenting on it, but if you could create a charity with large corporate backing which gave you control over how that money could be spent, via building wells and media projects you could create massive change.

Too bad Joe doesn't do fear factor anymore I was thinking of a Congo based Celebrity Fear Factor to draw attention to the cause! Have you every approachd DFW or the UFC or other fight org's about doing charity events or corporate sponserships?

Once again I get looking back when you are 50 and thinking damn what if I would have gone back to fighting, but with your unique character as a human being I think you could really drastically change if not nearly "solve" the clean water situation in the Congo.

I truly wish you the best and will be sending some $ to the orgs you mentioned on the podcast.

Rock on.

Justin Wren is 100% one of the most inspiring, likeable, interesting human beings in MMA and beyond.  reminds me of Evan tanner for some reason. anyway, really cool dude and wish him the best with his pursuit. Cant believe he is still so young...

Keep on keeping on brother Phone Post 3.0

That was great.

Couple questions for Justin.

How did you originally get involved in the fight for the freedom of the Pygmies?

Now that you're back home, is there anyway to contact your family back in the Congo?

I think getting back to fighting would be great for the sport and how the world looks at MMA fighters as well as the companies that decide to sponsor you and help your cause. Obviously you'd be able to get back to a high level fast.  You don't post a 10-2 pro record without possessing the skills and potention.  Congrats on all your success and righteousness. It's an honor to be able to take a look into your life and story.
